Corporate Social Responsibility

Dotty’s Oils believes that there is both a consumer and corporate responsibility in looking after the earth and the environment. As we’ve mentioned previously, we at Dotty’s are interested in being part of something greater than ourselves which is why the dōTERRA corporate social responsibility (CSR) is something we are proud to align ourselves with.

Alongside the work that dōTERRA does with their charity the Healing Hands Foundation, ethics are at play from the very first point of production; source material.  Dealing with growers from over 40 different countries they ensure they work with rural and native farmers; rather than large corporations. In this way dōTERRA is able to offer a partnership with the farmers to ensure timely fair pay, good working conditions and a sustainable income. dōTERRA promises to purchase the crops grown by farmers it partners with and this is changing communities. The Bulgarian government has recently referred to dōTERRA as “the DNA of Bulgaria” as growers are being encouraged to stay and farm the land (Rose and Lavender are sourced in Bulgaria) rather than leave the country in search of improved working conditions elsewhere.

When you place an order with Dotty’s you know that not only is a percentage of your spend going directly to the Healing Hands Foundation but that every transaction on the supply chain has been ethical and responsible.

Having experienced the life-enriching power of essential oils, a group of health-care and business professionals collaborated with a common goal of creating a new standard of essential oils that would influence individuals and communities around the world. In the spring of 2008, their vision became a reality and doTERRA ®, meaning "gift of the Earth," was founded.
